Andalusian quartet (now working as a trio) RED EYE just delivered a proper Saga, an epic journey through the always complex meaning of human existence on Planet Earth and the not always easy relationship with the savage environment during the early days of the human race, the creation of gods, the meaning behind sacred stones conceived as temples of the mind... 'The Cycle' is a conceptual album which shows RED EYE’s most genre-pushing output so far. From colossal slow-tempo riffs that verge on funeral or drone doom to energic blast beats and enchanting melodies, this three-act musical narrative manages to unfold a story which takes us back in time to the ancient plains and forests of the centre of Andalusia.
